Seabrook Island Village, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, (SIV) is a group of people on a small island south of Charleston, SC. We are part of the national Village to Village Network which has over 375 open or developing 'villages' throughout the country. Each village aims to help its residents stay in their homes, maintain their independence and remain active in the communities as long as it is safe to do so.
Members may request the following services: transportation, friendly visits, computer/electronic assistance, daily phone check-in, basic home chores and caregiver relief. Volunteers may help with any of those and/or assist with office work. We have over 150 Seabrook members and volunteers
